The very first Coffee Cat to set paws through our doors was the boo-tiful Little Boo. Named after Boudicca, a Celtic queen of the Iceni who led a major revolt against Roman rule in Britain around AD 60–61.
Boo was a sweet and amazing three legged wonder cat who had a difficult life but a spirit that lived up to her name and made an impression on everyone she met.
When we first met her at the shelter, she made her feelings clear that she wanted to come home with us.
She had a short illness and we lost her just after our first birthday in October 2020 and is forever greatly missed,

Although our time with Little Boo was heartbreakingly short, we cherished every moment we had her. She is still remembered and an im-paw-tent part of our coffee cat family. Her spirit has never left us.

Together, with long‑time supporter and artist, Emma Naylor, we created Little Boo Ghosts — a unique way to honour Boo’s memory while supporting the rescue cats who follow in her pawprints.
