The Moo has moo-ved!

In early June, we were invited to visit another of our OGs — the Majestic Mary Moo — as she and her humans have moo-ved to a new home just outside Lincoln.

Moo, a very fluffy black‑and‑white lady, is thoroughly spoilt by her humans - brothers Alex and Andrew, who’ve filled their home and garden with cosy perches and kitty pavilions fit for any queen!

Those who knew her at Coffee Cats will remember her as being a bit aloof,  keeping her distance from everyone. Moo believed in boundaries and social distancing, long before the rest of us caught on, and it was one of the reasons we knew she wanted to leave us for a quieter life.

However, apart from loving her food, if you put in the extra time and met her on her own terms, she did love a good chin rub.

During our visit, she showed us her crazy quirk we remembered so well : playing with full enthusiasm for thirty seconds before suddenly freezing and then running away as if receiving instructions from the 'mother ship' to "cease and desist".

After Moo dismissed us, we explored their lovely large garden which the brothers hope to use for rescuing older, overlooked cats.

They’re already in touch with Lincoln Cats in Crisis and have welcomed in two gorgeous Maine Coons, who also clearly chose them to be their furr-ever humans

Moo, as you can guess, isn’t too fussed about all this yet… but we’re excited to follow and support their lovely new venture!
