In Loving Memory

Earlier this year, we sadly lost a long-time supporter and friend of Coffee Cats. Our relationship with Kay started during the first lockdown, when she offered her help at a time when kindness meant everything.

Although Kay wasn’t able to visit often in recent years, we kept in touch and after her death, we received a monetary gift in her memory.

To honor Kay’s kindness and friendship, we’ve used some of the money to purchase a stylish, cat-sized chaise-lounge fit for our regal felines! We’ve also displayed one of her favorite poems — Pangur Bán, written by a 9th-century monk about his beloved cat.

Both the poem and the sofa can be found in the upstairs front room of the café.
