Mark Anthony is a bit Blue

Earlier this month, we were invited to visit the one and only Mark Anthony — MA for short — as he recovered from his recent operation to remove three troublesome teeth.

For those who’ve been with us a while, you’ll remember that MA was one of our original Coffee Cats before being rehomed in 2023.

In true MA fashion, he didn’t just settle into his new home… he selected it. He politely dismissed every human who came before Michelle and Kevin, then promptly decided they were his chosen servants. 😸

Since then, he’s been living a life of comfort, confidence, and — plot twist — canine companionship. Yes, MA has formed a very strong bond with a visiting… 🤐 D. O. G. 🐕‍🦺 Not a tiny one either, but a very large, very gentle rescue called Blue, who now also lives with the family. The two of them are quite the duo, and honestly, it’s a joy to see.

We spent a lovely afternoon catching up, sharing stories, sipping tea 🫖, and enjoying scones 🍮 while MA watched or slept on with his usual regal charm. We even got a little playtime with him, which brought back memories of his play‑fighting days with Nicky and how Alfie absolutely adored him. 😻

We were all sad when MA began showing signs that living with the other cats wasn’t making him happy — but looking at him now, it’s clear that our loss became his gain. He’s thriving, adored, and absolutely living his best life. 🐈❤️
